- 2Get matched. We share your request with up to 5 licensed, insured local pool resurfacing companies.
- 3Compare and decide. Compare quotes from the companies that reach out and decide what's right for you. No obligation.
Who runs this site
Pool Resurfacing Connect is owned and operated by Connect Network, based in the Phoenix area. You can reach us at hello@poolresurfacingconnect.com.
We're a matching service, not a contractor. We don't perform pool resurfacing work, sell equipment or employ technicians. The companies that receive your request are independent businesses, and each one gives you its own quote and warranty.
Research Methods & Contractor Standards
Contractor standards: who can receive requests
Before a company can receive homeowner requests, we ask for the following, and we only send requests to companies that provide it:
- An active Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) license number for the type of work, which we look up on the ROC website
- Proof of general liability insurance
- The ZIP codes and job types the company actually serves
- Agreement to contact homeowners promptly and give written quotes
If homeowners report problems such as no-shows or misleading quotes, we can stop sending requests to that company. We don't publish reviews or ratings of companies, and we don't rank companies against each other.
A license and insurance check is a minimum standard, not an endorsement of anyone's workmanship. Look up the license yourself and get the scope, price and warranty in writing.
Research methods: how we write our guides
- Cost ranges come from published sources such as national cost guides, Arizona contractors' own price pages and city or utility reports. Each guide lists its sources and the date we checked them.
- Local rules (for example city water, sewer or permit rules) come from official city, town or utility pages whenever we can find them. Where we can't, we say so.
- We label prices as typical ranges, not quotes. The company you hire sets the actual price.
- We review our guides regularly and update them when sources change. If you spot an error, email hello@poolresurfacingconnect.com and we'll correct it.

How we make money
Homeowners never pay us. Your request may be shared with up to 5 participating companies, and each participating company that receives it pays us a fee. That fee doesn't change what you pay, and you never have to hire anyone. See our Privacy Policy for how your information is shared.
Corrections & updates
When we fix an error or update a guide with new sources, we log it here. Found something wrong? Email hello@poolresurfacingconnect.com.
- October 2026: Re-checked the City of Phoenix pool page and corrected our refill advice. The city names January through March billing cycles as the cheaper time to refill, and any big jump in water use can affect the July sewer fee recalculation, with a Sewer Fee Review available through MyPHX311.
- October 2026: Corrected quartz finish lifespans to about 7 to 18 years depending on the source, and fixed Tempe's drain-permit wording to match the city's PDF (pools over 35,000 gallons need a permit).
- October 2026: Added Phoenix contractor-published price ranges to the pool resurfacing cost guide, labeled separately from builder and national figures, and verified Arizona's dual KA-5 and KA-6 pool license classes.
- October 2026: Published a pool draining rules by city comparison table, built only from official city pages, with gaps marked where a city's page is silent.
- October 2026: Added Surprise, Goodyear and Buckeye city pages using each city's own drain guidance, and a pool resurfacing process guide based on National Plasterers Council start-up procedures and manufacturer documents.

Frequently asked questions
Is Pool Resurfacing Connect a contractor?
No. We're a free matching service. We connect homeowners with independent, licensed local companies, and those companies do the work, set the price and provide any warranty. You deal with them directly once you're matched, and you're never obligated to hire anyone.
Do companies pay to be on Pool Resurfacing Connect?
Yes. Each participating company that receives a homeowner request pays us a fee. A request goes to no more than 5 companies. That's how the service stays free for homeowners. We only send requests to companies that give us an active Arizona ROC license number and proof of liability insurance.
